Quick-Start Steps

  1. Charge before first use. Connect the included USB-C cable to the S1 Pro's charging port and plug into a USB-C wall adapter. The LED indicator will blink white slowly while charging and turn solid white when the battery is full. Do not use the screwdriver while the cable is connected — the motor will not run during charging.
  2. Open the pop-up case and select a bit. Press the latch to open the magnetic aluminum alloy case. The 16 S2 bits are organized in 5 categories — Phillips, flathead, Torx, hex, and pozidriv. Choose the bit that fits your screw head.
  3. Seat the bit into the magnetic chuck. Align the bit shank with the magnetic chuck opening and push until it clicks into place. Give it a gentle tug to confirm it is seated — a partially inserted bit will slip under load.
  4. Select your torque level. Press the torque-mode button to cycle through the three levels: 1.5 N·m for delicate electronics, 3 N·m for furniture and general assembly, 4.2 N·m for tougher fasteners. Start at the lowest level appropriate for your job and step up only if the screw doesn't seat fully.
  5. Set the rotation direction. Slide the forward/reverse switch to the desired direction before pressing the trigger. Forward drives screws in; reverse backs them out.
  6. Press the trigger and drive. Apply steady forward pressure on the screw while pressing the trigger. The S1 Pro runs at 220 RPM — a controlled pace that reduces cam-out on Phillips heads. Release the trigger as the screw seats to avoid stripping.

Torque and Speed Modes Explained

The S1 Pro has three electronic torque levels plus a manual mode:

  • Level 1 — 1.5 N·m: Best for small machine screws, electronics repair, eyeglass frames, and any fastener where stripping the head or the material is a risk.
  • Level 2 — 3 N·m: General-purpose setting. Suitable for furniture assembly (IKEA-style cam locks, dowels), light cabinetry, and most M3–M5 fasteners.
  • Level 3 — 4.2 N·m: Harder fasteners and tighter-fitting threads. The clutch engages when the S1 Pro reaches torque, so it stops driving before over-torquing.
  • Max hard torque — 6 N·m: The mechanical ceiling before the clutch releases. Driving a stuck or cross-threaded screw past this point requires switching to the manual mode handle.
  • Manual torque — 8 N·m: The S1 Pro's chuck accepts manual turning for the highest-resistance situations, such as breaking a rust-seized screw free before switching back to electric drive.

Changing Bits

The magnetic chuck makes bit swaps tool-free and fast.

  1. Release the trigger and let the motor stop completely.
  2. Grip the current bit near the base and pull straight back — the magnet releases with a firm tug.
  3. Pick the new bit from the case and push it into the chuck until you feel the magnetic click.
  4. Tug gently to confirm engagement before driving.

All 16 included bits have the same shank diameter. Third-party bits must match the standard 1/4 in hex shank format to fit the S1 Pro chuck.

Charging and Battery Care

Charge via the USB-C port using a standard phone charger or any USB-C wall adapter. Read the LED indicators to track battery state:

  • Charging: LED blinks white slowly.
  • Fully charged: LED turns solid white.
  • Low battery (below 20%): LED blinks red rapidly during use — finish the current job, then recharge before continuing.
  • Cannot use while charging: The motor will not run when the USB-C cable is plugged in. Unplug, then operate.

The 2000mAh battery is rated for 1,300 screws per full charge under standard test conditions. Heavy-duty fasteners or sustained high-torque use will reduce that count; light electronics work will exceed it.

Safety Rules

  • Always confirm the bit is fully seated before pressing the trigger — an unclipped bit can eject under torque.
  • Start at the lowest torque level for any new fastener type; step up only if needed.
  • Do not force a stuck screw past the max hard torque (6 N·m) with the electric mode. Switch to manual drive to break it free, then continue electrically.
  • Keep the chuck and bit shanks clean and dry. Corrosion on the shank reduces the magnetic hold.
  • Do not charge from a computer USB port or a 1A USB-A adapter if you need a full charge quickly — low-current sources will charge the 2000mAh cell very slowly.
  • Store in the included magnetic case to protect the bits and prevent accidental activation.

FAQ

Q: Where do I download the Fanttik S1 Pro manual PDF?
A: The official manual is available directly from Fanttik's servers. No account is needed.

A: No. The motor will not run when the USB-C cable is connected. Unplug the cable first, then operate.

Q: How do I know the battery is full?
A: The LED indicator turns solid white when charging is complete. While charging, it blinks white slowly.

Q: How do I change torque modes?
A: Press the torque-mode button to step through the three levels: 1.5, 3, and 4.2 N·m. The selected level is displayed via the indicator or labeled on the tool body — check the manual PDF for the exact indicator pattern on your unit.

Q: What bit shank size does the S1 Pro accept?
A: Standard 1/4 in hex shank. All 16 included S2 bits use this format. Third-party bits must match this shank size.

Q: How many screws can I drive on a full charge?
A: Fanttik certifies 1,300 screws per full charge under standard test conditions. Actual count varies with fastener resistance and torque level used.
